Yangi Selects AP&T’s Press Solution for Their Advanced Dry Forming Technology

Today, we are excited to announce that, after careful consideration, we have selected AP&T, an international company with Swedish roots that provides metal and fiber forming industries worldwide with advanced production solutions as our supplier to develop and integrate a tailormade press solution for our industrial dry forming machine platform.

With the previously announced scaling partner GDM, a Coesia company and worldwide leader in industrial market solutions for the disposable hygiene industry, as our manufacturing partner, our dry forming technology Cellera is now ready for machine orders.

“AP&T’s superior energy efficient technology for servohydraulic presses along with their deep commitment to the fiber forming niche align perfectly with our vision. Their extensive experience in not only building presses but also delivering integrated solutions—encompassing automation, tooling, and beyond—makes them the ideal collaborator,” says Johann Kaiser, CEO of Yangi. “Our partnership is driven by a shared commitment to continuous engineering optimization to enhance Yangi’s dry forming machine performance,” he continues.

AP&T’s expertise in mechanical, electrical, and safety design, along with their skill in integrating both their own and third-party equipment into complete production lines, guarantees a seamless and efficient operation as we continue to lead in sustainable packaging innovation. The partnership embodies the spirit of mutual collaboration, with both partners committing to leveraging our resources in the name of technological advancement.

“Fiber forming is a strategically important niche for AP&T, and therefore our collaboration with Yangi is a significant step in that venture. The collaboration is also in line with our long-term environmental goals, where AP&T's pioneering technology is an enabler for the manufacture of sustainable end products and our innovative solutions contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions,” says Dr. Christian Koroschetz, Head of Products and Marketing at AP&T.

“So, we are proud that our servohydraulic press provides Yangi with an energy-efficient, precise and reliable process—a necessity for large-scale production of dry-molded products. As an international company with Swedish roots, we also look forward to supporting Yangi in its development and contributing first-class service and support to promote its growth in the global market,” he concludes.

Yangi is now primed, more than ever, to commercialize our cutting-edge dry fiber forming technology. By offering a turnkey solution via our advanced Cellera machine platform and customized packages of value-added services, the shift to dry forming has never been easier for brands and packaging producers.
